I have also  started to get commissions to produce a personalised Tea Cosies as a wedding gifts with the happy couples' name and date of the wedding on one side and a quote on the other. I have also recently produced a pair of egg cosies with the the couples names as an anniversary gift.  About me & my work. From an early age I have been fascinated in embroidery and textiles, teaching myself embroidery stitches from a book at the age of eight. After doing a degree in Fashion and then working in Local Government,  I felt like quitting the rat race and decided to find other ways to make a living, creating  something that bit different. I now design functional textile pieces in an eclectic mix of both contemporary and vintage fabrics. I like to make quirky items, often using an embroidery technique which allows me to almost sketch with stitchery.
